Publish
Push your theme to its repository and submit it for review with salla theme publish.
Run salla theme publish from the theme folder when the theme is ready for the marketplace.
salla theme publishAlias: salla theme pub.
Publishing sends the source of your theme to its GitHub repository and tells Salla a new version was submitted. Salla builds it from that commit, so the CLI never asks you to build locally.
Requirements
- You are signed in:
salla login. - The folder contains
twilight.json. - Your partner account is linked to GitHub, and the folder's git remote points at the theme's repository.
- The theme has at least one screenshot, one category and a price (150 to 99999 SAR). With no screenshot the CLI opens the theme's page in the Partners portal. Categories and price are asked in the terminal.
A theme created without the GitHub step has no remote. Run salla theme create interactively next time, or set up the repository from the Partners portal.
What it asks
- The categories, if none are set.
- The price and an optional discount price, if none is set.
- A change log in English and one in Arabic, at least 25 characters each.
- Whether to commit and push uncommitted changes, with a commit message.
Then it submits the publication, waits if Salla's checks are still running, and prints the result. While the request is under review the theme is read-only. To edit it, withdraw the request.
Before you publish
Check that the pages you changed render at both /ar and /en (Languages and RTL), then push your commits:
git status
git pushThe CLI offers to commit and push only changes that are not committed yet. Commits you made earlier and did not push are not pushed for you.
